TGIT! Abc’s ‘Thank God It’s Thursday” is Back!

This September our favorite shows are coming back to our screens and we are excited. The famous ‘TGIT’ shows from abc network are here for a new season and for some, a final season. Start clearing your Thursdays, How To Get Away With Murder, Scandal aka The Fixer and Grey’s Anatomy are here.
There will be a two-hour special season premier for Grey’s Anatomy, followed by one-hour season premier of How To Get Away With Murder on the 28th of September. We’re guessing the two-hour episode of Grey’s Anatomy is taking Scandals usual airing time, so the season premier of scandal will be the next week, October 5th.
However, this would be the 7th and final season of our dear fixer, we say goodbye to Olivia Pope after this season of Scandal (cries hysterically) and we are looking forward to the 18 episodes of thrilling drama. In the words of Executive producer, Shonda Rhimes ‘So, next year (season 7) we are going all out. Leaving nothing on the table. Creating this world in celebration. We are going to handle the end the way we like to handle the important things in our Scandal family: all together, white hats on, gladiators running full speed over a cliff.’

Grey’s Anatomy is still running strong in its 14th season and seems to not to have an end date in sight. This new season has some old guest appearances and will run for 24 weeks.

The last of the trio, How To Get Away With Murder will premier its 4th season right after the two-hour special of Grey’s Anatomy, with 15 episodes. This season will explore why Wes was killed and how Annalise puts herself back together after being accused of his murder. Apparently Viola Davis’ husband, Julius Tennon is set make a guest appearance this season.

Looking forward to another TGIT season!
