Make That Morning Detox Smoothie At Home

Trying to get that detox on for your weight loss? You would want to add that detox smoothie to give some flavor to your diet!

Why bother going out for a smoothie when you can make one at home. It’s easy as ABC!

When we talk of detox smoothie, by all means, we mean a green smoothie. Don’t let the green discourage you; it could taste really good with the right recipes.

All you need;

-A smoothie blender (which you would have to invest in to get that toned body).


-Some fruits.

-Greens(Spinach, cabbage, lettuce, kale, broccoli) feel free to rotate your greens as often as you can.

-1/2 cup of Ice(Alternatively, you could freeze your fruits before using them)


It takes just three simple steps to make one

-Add all ingredients to blender
-Blend until smooth


A few recipes you could use;


1) Green Tropical Sunrise

  • ¼ cup pineapple
  • 1 orange peeled
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1 cup water


2) Pineapple Banana Detox Smoothie

  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup water


3) Mango Cucumber Green Smoothie

  • ¼ cup mango
  • 1 orange peeled
  • 1 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1 cup spinach


4) Avocado Detox Smoothie

  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice
  • 2 cups spinach or kale (stemmed and chopped)
  • 1 apple (unpeeled and chopped)
  • 1/2 avocado (chopped)
